The Riverside Learning Center (RLC), is a pedagogical research and training organisation of Riverside School, based in Ahmedabad, India, with a global reach in over 9 countries.
RLC offers customised training programmes that provide ecosystem wide solutions to transform school cultures with processes and pedagogical practices designed for the 21st century learner. We believe that Design Thinking, with empathy at its core, is the key to create a unique and user-centered approach to learning and building school systems.
Years of Experience
RLC uses this approach in its training programmes to transform schools from standardised “one size fits all approach” to schools that value agency, co-creation and character over compliance, instruction and content. Over the years The Riverside Learning Center has codified Riverside’s globally recognised practices and processes to help transform schools across the world.
We are excited to announce the launch of the I CAN Early Learning Center franchise model. A unique flagship programme designed to empower the yearly years in existing or new start up schools to build a strong foundation with our I CAN Early Years – for this we embark on a 3 YEAR phased journey of co-creation where representative school leaders and teachers come together to build ground-up the I CAN Early Learning Center.
We use a systems approach to building school culture, along with a plan to timetable the EARLY YEARS curriculum and map a shared vision amongst ALL stakeholders. The training includes a road map of how to TIMETABLE for the BOTH, AND programme, understanding how to implement and contextualise the processes, the curriculum along with training to use the HumanE framework to help design processes for your school.

With Rohan and Foram ’ s extensive experience in leading pre-schools, they bring invaluable insights, making them ideal allies in shaping the I CAN Early Learning Center and reimagining a new way forward.
Rohan Roy
Rohan Roy is the Director of Canopus International School, which has 9 branches and co-founder of Graph education by Balaji Group who has guided over 25,000 students till today. He has been honored with the Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Award for Best Principal and is also featured in Gujarat’ s “40 Under 40 Most Influential educators ” list. He also won ‘National Education Excellence award’ by National Education Human Resource development Organisation of India . He co-founded Learnkin, now among India ’ s Top 5 Startups. A visionary leader and a passionate educationist is transforming education and building a legacy of excellence for future generations.
Foram Roy
Foram Roy is the Founder of Learnkin, an awardwinning early learning solution, Under her leadership, Learnkin was Honoured India ’ s Top 5 Startups in the HerStart Program, Led by Hon ’ble President Shrimati Droupadi Murmu. She also serves as CoDirector of Canopus International Preschools. Foram has been recognized with top honors, including Women Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 by Gujarat University and has also received Dronacharya Award for best teachers trainer . As a Cambridge TKT Certified Trainer, and a phonics Master coach she empowers educators for early literacy and reading .
Abhishek Batra
Abhishek Batra is an engineer by education and an entrepreneur by choice. He started his career in the glass industry, where he set up a manufacturing unit and later expanded into trading glass bottles, gaining over 8 years of solid business experience. Coming from a family with a strong background in exports, he naturally carried forward the legacy by entering the international market and building lasting global connections . Abhishek’ s journey reflects his ability to take calculated risks, hands-on leadership and stay committed to creating things that are built to last.
